Why checkout is hosted in the portal
The portal owns learner identity, payment transactions, PayPal subscription references, and entitlement lifecycle records. This page explains and routes purchases; the portal performs secure checkout.
How recurring access is controlled
Browser redirects never grant access. Verified activation and payment webhooks activate or renew access, while cancellation, suspension, expiration, refund, and reversal events update the entitlement state.
