Illustrative mock interface: a schematic of GitHub Pages publishing options and domain controls; example only, not a real screenshot.
Illustrative mock interface, not a live GitHub or DNS-provider screenshot. Exact menu names may differ; validate in the official vendor documentation.

Measurable learning outcomes

By the end of this module, the learner should be able to:

  • Distinguish organization, project and custom-domain GitHub Pages deployments.
  • Choose a publishing source and base-path configuration for a realistic requirement.
  • Draw the path from reviewed source through build artifact to HTTPS delivery.

Practical deliverable: Create an architecture decision record that compares two deployment options for a small training site. Specify the repository owner, Pages publishing source, generated artifact location, canonical URL, and two rollback conditions.
